Stevie D. Conlon (formerly Steven D. Conlon), Attorney at Law, is in private practice in metro Chicago and is licensed to practice in both Illinois and New York. Previously, Stevie was a corporate and tax partner at Katten Muchin Zavis Rosenman and Baker & McKenzie in their Chicago offices. Stevie's practice has focused on tax, securities and business law issues relating to complex financial products including financial derivatives such as swaps, options and forwards and structured products such as asset-backed securities and tender option bonds that include derivative-like elements for over fourteen years. Over this time, Stevie has represented investment banks, sponsors and investors such as mutual funds in the design and evaluation of these products. Stevie has been a Council Director for the American Bar Association Tax Section, Chair of the Chicago Bar Association's Federal Tax Committee, and is a member of the American College of Tax Counsel. |
