John D. McDonald is a a partner in the Chicago office of Baker & McKenzie. Since joining Baker & McKenzie, Mr. McDonald has primarily focused on international acquisitions and reorganizations; however, he has also been involved in a number of tax controversies, including AMP, Laidlaw, and Square D Company docketed cases. Mr. McDonald has also prepared numerous transfer pricing studies for U.S. multinationals.
In addition to co-authoring U.S. Corporations Doing Business Abroad (1998), Mr. McDonald co-authors a bi-monthly column in TAXES magazine entitled, International Tax Watch. Mr. McDonald frequently lectures for Tax Executives Institute, Executive Enterprises Institute, ATLAS/CITE, and the Chicago Bar Association. |
