Stanley Langbein  
 
 
Stanley I. Langbein is a professor of law at the University of Miami School of Law. He practiced law in Washington, D.C. for 11 years and previously held positions as a Treasury official and as a law clerk for the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Professor Langbein teaches courses in banking law and regulations, negotiable instruments, commercial transactions, federal income taxation, international taxation, and corporate taxation. Professor Langbein has written extensively on banking issues and is the author of The Bank Income Tax Return Manual With Sample Filled-In 2004 Returns.

He is a graduate of Yale College and Harvard Law School.
