Amy L. Sutton is a partner in the Washington National Tax Office of Deloitte Tax LLP, working from the Houston office. She specializes in partnership taxation, with an emphasis on the use of partnerships in mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions, in addition to the rules relating to publicly traded partnerships. Ms. Sutton joined the National Tax Office over nine years ago. Prior to her time there, she practiced for eight years in Deloitte’s San Francisco office, where she concentrated on partnership, S corporation, and individual taxation in the real estate, hospitality, winery, and investment fund industries. Ms. Sutton currently serves on the AICPA Partnership Taxation Technical Resource Panel. |
