Louis J. Stewart, Ph.D., CPA, is an associate professor of accounting in the School of Business at Howard University. Prior to joining the faculty of Howard University, Professor Stewart was an associate professor of accounting at Kean University; an assistant professor of accounting in the Department of Accounting, Taxation, and Law at Long Island University; and an assistant professor of health financial management at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University. In addition, he has extensive professional experience as a financial analyst and manager in the healthcare sector and is the update author of WG&L’s Healthcare Controller’s Manual. He has also been published in the Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance, Journal of Healthcare Management, and Research in Healthcare Financial Management. |
