Aspiring Authors

Estate Planning is a national journal for lawyers, accountants, trustees, and other practitioners concerned with the planning, conservation, and management of family assets. The focus of articles should be on helping practitioners become better informed about the rules and how they apply.

To be considered for publication, an article must be sent to us exclusively. On average, articles are 15-25 double-spaced, typed manuscript pages (although shorter and longer pieces are acceptable). Manuscripts submitted to the journal are sent to our editorial board for review prior to acceptance for publication. Manuscripts accepted for publication in Estate Planning are edited to conform with the journal's style, and galleys of the edited version are sent to the author to review prior to publication.

Manuscripts should be submitted by e-mail, as attachments in either Microsoft Word or WordPerfect format, to bob.scharin@thomsonreuters.com.
